2022-01-18 12:22:54 +0000 UTCAh, the introduction of my favorite character, Mayu. I've been waiting for this. I'm so glad you liked her, Curtis. I just love her for her energetic, unabashed adoration for the things she loves and I actually find "gaudy" girls in anime to be pretty cool looking most of the time. Plus, she's hilarious and Lord knows this anime needs a laugh a time or two. This episode was a great breather too. It's definitely my second favorite episode, behind Episode 9.

The characters are both very likeable (well Harada at first kind of comes off as a smug idol douchebag, but clearly there's more to his character), they both clearly deserve to go to the "good place" and they also get to stay a little longer. In the case of the couple in Episode 3 they get to go on a date before passing on. While Harada and Mayu get to hold a concert for the afterlife's staff.
