Added 2022-01-15 01:15:04 +0000 UTCAs you guys know, we just completed a poll to help me figure out what I'll be placing at the $1 level. When I create these polls, it isn't solely to find a winner. I'm also watching to see what shows you guys don't care as much for. For instance, in a 4 -way poll, if two shows are getting 90% of the vote, it's fair to assume the other two may not be huge draws.
This time I was very pleased to see that every show got very nice support! When you are splitting between 4 choices and last place still has 15% of the vote, that suggests that all of them are likely shows that many of you would enjoy watching with me. This was a really cool outcome!
So, instead of just the top one or two vote-getters, we'll watch all 4 of these anime, in the order of their votes:
SOUL EATER
BLACK LAGOON
BOONDOCKS
BLACK CLOVER
As far as sub vs. dub, we don't do polls or post questions on that, as it's futile, because it just initiates arguments and consternation. As always, I lean towards sub, unless my research into the show (I have a specific method for checking this out) tells me that dub seems to be superior... Also, if we've already started a show in one form or the other, I'll continue with it.
Another plus is, we'll soon have nominations/polls for shows to follow One Piece and Dragon Ball, so now you guys will have 4 less titles to consider, opening the doors for some that haven't quite made it to the top yet. 😊

I hope Black Lagoon ends up dubbed (especially seeing as the first two episodes that got G100'ed, was of the dub)

2022-01-15 03:27:10 +0000 UTCIf my calculations are correct (31 episodes remaining for Psycho-pass, 50 remaining for Soul Eater, 22 remaining for Black Lagoon, 55 for Boondocks, 170 for Black Clover), last reaction to Black Clover will be posted on 1st of February, 2023. You've scheduled 1$ level for more than a year, but then again, these were doing well in nominations for a long time.
