I said this before but it was on an older reaction, so you may not have seen it. Orochi's backstory is not meant to make you sympathize with Orochi. It's meant to make you realize the part that both sides played in what he became. If he hadn't hunted down just cause of his family name, he could became an honorable person. It's meant to show that neither side is blameless. But yes, Orochi is a POS.

Orochi is right though. Those people were way out of line hunting people who had nothing to do with it just because of their belonging. Discrimination and judgement based on what other people has done is just wrong! Orochi at least knows not to let unrelated people suffer for the sins of a few others! Oh wait...

Even though Kaido is laughing with Orochi, he has a very high respect for Oden's tenacity and stubbornness. It's partly why he's fine with Oden holding his retainers on that platform above his head. But yeah, Oden could throw his pride away if it meant saving people. He's a goofball, but he's noble, honest, and a caring man. He would have been a magnificent Shogun unlike that sub-human piece of shit, Orochi. And much as I hate to say it, some of Orochi's anger has merit; hunting down an entire family for one man's crimes is not just. None the less, that doesn't mean the entire country deserves to bleed for the actions of a select few. Orochi took things way too far all for the sake of petty revenge and delusions of grandeur. That pig nosed bastard deserves a horrific, long, and painful death.

So has orochi surpassed Kabuto and danzo at least? He isn't quite more hateful than arlong? When you said you didn't think you could hate someone more than arlong I was thinking "wait till you meet orochi"

Fun fact about this execution though, its based on Ishikawa Goemon, who was basically a Japanese Robin Hood, though like much of Japanese history there are conflicting accounts about him, though one of the consistent facts is that he was caught while attempting to assassinate Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and was sentenced to be boiled alive along with his son, but he held his son above his head to save him, and his son was supposedly rescued by onlookers. There's a tombstone dedicated to him in the Daiunin temple in Kyoto, and large iron bath tubs in Japan are now called Goemonburo

Oh lad you're really not the only fucking one that hates that piece of shit. God I'm like you, every time I see or hear his stupid voice it just pisses me off. I wished it had been him in that oil. Only behind from shou Tucker from fmab, he's my most hateable character ever. If it simply wasn't for daddy Kaido he'd been long dead. That tubbo really has the devil's luck with the people he knows. Also my respect for Oden, seriously doing what he is doing only takes balls of steel and a deep love for his subordinates. Fuck orochi seriously. The only anime villain ever to make my blood pressure go up out of pure hatred for him.
