As you guys know, I place the shows at the $1 level for us, and I typically stay away from polls, as I have solid reasons for choosing the ones I do. This time, though, it's really tight for me, so I want to find out what you guys think.
Remember, we'll also soon be voting on replacements for One Piece and OG Dragon Ball.

2022-01-12 01:24:46 +0000 UTCI'm rooting for Soul Eater, all of these are great choices, but Soul Eater was one of those big mid 2000s anime that got people into the medium for a reason, the show had a great sense of style. Also if it does win be careful, there's actually 2 Soul Eater series, Soul Eater, and Soul Eater Not, the second one is a spin off.

2022-01-12 00:17:06 +0000 UTCThe best stopping point for One Piece would actually be at Episode 1012 and Curtis will reach that exact episode if he goes all the way. It adapts Chapter 1000 which is the beginning of Luffy vs Kaido, so that is the best stopping point.

I don't know how far ahead with the reactions you are but i'd think once Oden's backstory is over would be the best spot. Once the raid on Onigashima starts there's no good stopping points anymore. Also, putting in my vote for Soul Eater, that series holds a special place in my heart as the anime that introduced me to anime at large, i'd also suggest Dub if you're going with it, as it's phenomenal

2022-01-11 23:41:03 +0000 UTCIf we're doing Black Lagoon, please let it be Dub. It is one of the two Dubs I swear by. The Engrish in the Sub is too few and far in between to really make it worth it. (It's not Jojo level Engrish, where you're missing out if you don't watch Sub).
