Is based on something the British did at the Battle of Messines. They killed roughly 10,000 German soldiers and produced the largest explosion seen before the invention of the Atomic bomb. The explosion was heard all the way in London and Dublin. The Mines were actually listed as one of the five reasons for German Defeat, in the German Military's own official history. And the Mines set off by the Empire here might, actually be bigger. Cannae was a battle during the 2nd Punic War where Hannibal (you may know him from Drifters) managed to surround and destroy a much larger Roman force. Commanded by the two Consuls (imagine if the President and the Vice President were equal in power and they were also directly in charge of the armed forces) of Rome, it was a resounding victory for the Carthaginians under Hannibal and a humiliating defeat for Rome. What everyone in the Anime seems to be forgetting is that Hannibal eventually lost that war.

2021-12-21 18:29:43 +0000 UTCIt's fun seeing Tanya get along with her soldiers honestly, when she's not stressed out and planning she can actually relax and make jokes with them like a normal person. When she's not fighting she's pretty normal and even friendly to others. That's one of the things from the light novels, a lot of what Tanya says about herself from her past life makes it sound like she was a pretty normal person, she was just extremely driven and a hard worker so she'd became fairly successful, but in her personal life she played games and had friends, she just love efficiency and studying economics as well, she's always been fiercely individualistic and a believer in meritocracy, she just struggled to see somethings that are usually obvious to others though, like how unhinged the guy who killed her was when she was a businessman, she didn't consider that he'd throw his life away for short term satisfaction and revenge.
