2021-12-07 16:46:52 +0000 UTChonestly after this arc you can kinda see why they needed to move onto threats from space in Dragonball Z, they established the Red Ribbon army as one of Earth's biggest threats, and Goku single handedly decimates them, in these sorts of stories you can either make the next threats smaller and more personal or go bigger, and Dragonball has always been about "there's always someone who's stronger then you to surpass"
