Glad you enjoyed it! Went back and forth on whether or not to start you at episode 1 or episode 3, and ultimately decided there wasn’t any harm at starting from episode 1 (since that’s what I did when I first watched the show)

2021-11-24 17:32:50 +0000 UTCFirst two episodes are filler, but that's alright. Gintama is the only anime I know where you have to watch all filler, the show usually uses it to make fun of itself. Episodes 1 and 2 are introduction to Gintama where all main characters are introduced, they'll be introduced properly starting from episode 3, beginning of actual plot. Gintama has several voice actors you've already heard, I'll point out characters you should remember best. Gintoki - young Joseph Joestar, Escanor, Katakuri Kagura - Taiga (from Toradora) Otose (Gintoki's landlady) - Orochimaru Zu... I mean, Katsura (rebel leader) - Gaara, Cavendish, Yoshinobu Kubota (from Sakamoto) Hijikata (Shinsengumi's vice commander who loves mayonnaise) - Zoro (yes, you've finally recognized a voice actor by another charachter's voice)

Honestly works better this way especially since this would be the only series Im completely fine watching the fillers.
