2021-11-22 18:32:21 +0000 UTCas others have said this is a crossover with Dr Slump, the series Toriyama made before Dragonball, Dr Slump is actually probably even weirder and less pc then even Dragonball lol. I definitely hope we can get it voted in sooner then later, it would definitely be right up your alley. By the way, Dr Slump was so successful the only reason Toriyama was allowed to end it was on the condition that he start a new series soon after, Dragonball began publication only 3 months after Dr Slump ended. Dr Slump and Arale is actually fairly iconic in anime and japan by the way, the series has 300+ episodes across 2 series, 11 films and the manga's 18 volumes, she may not be as popular as Goku, but she's definitely up there, plus she shows up in a lot of Shonen Jump crossover games, even if she's not really from a fighting series, plus Toriyama is obviously fond of the design, he's used similar designs to her in his other series.
