Bulma's nice with Goku, though, since she's on an adventure with him. And Master Thief Hasky, defeated by tickling!

2021-11-10 17:24:47 +0000 UTCToriyama's always loved retro tech, plus this was written during the 80s so even though the tech is futuristic it's still pretty retro in design, so having a boom box strapped to the back isn't that weird. The big clunky tech is one of the reasons Toriyama is a big star wars fan as well, he's even done some fan art and references to star wars in Dragonball and Dr Slumps mangas as well, though I think the anime cut them unfortunately.
