It’s crazy to think that Imu can even be more powerful than all the Four Emperors. They could even be more opposing than Gold Roger. I don’t know Luffy beats Kaido, let alone now Imu. It just seems impossible!

Most manga and anime fans consider Im to be the main antagonist of the series with Akainu and Blackbeard as secondary antagonists. Edit: This is based on my interactions with others, so I could be wrong. Oda's mind is both fascinating and strange.

I think Im was first foreshadowed back on Syrup Island, which is where we met Usopp. Oda already knows how he intends to end OP, which is just insane, given how well he's put this story together and been consistently good.

Im or Imu is the sole ruler of the World Government. Even the Five Elders bend to their will. There are a couple of theories about them: - Im is a woman - Im may be the mother of either Luffy or Shanks - As others posted Im = Gaia, The mother of Earth (Earth) Here is a theory I both pondered myself and also saw a video of: The Five Elders represent the following: - Bearded guy with the scar on his face = Zeus (Jupiter) - Tall bearded guy = Aphrodite (Venus) - Guy with the birthmark on his forehead = Hermes (Mercury) - Bald guy with glasses = Aries (Mars) - Blonde guy = Cronus (Saturn) Couple this with the fact that the ancient weapons are named Pluton(Pluto), Poseidon(Neptune), and Uranus(Uranus). Im would be Earth. All are based on Greek deities & the nine planets of our solar system. The Celestial Dragons like Charlos and his parents are charlatans and pretenders, but the Elders & Im are true Gods and the founders of the World Government. Remember how Pudding had three eyes? I believe Im is a purebred version of what Pudding is descended from. The eye we saw was her third eye. Forget Kaido. Forget Big Mom. Forget Blackbeard. Forget Warlords, Emperors, Kings, Queens, Admirals, The King of The Pirates; Im is a true threat to all who live. Im merely needs to whisper a name and that person is dead and erased from history. You thought Kaido was intimidating? Im scares the fuck out of me and as of your viewing this episode you know as much about them as both anime watchers and manga readers. Im is still the enigma. Edit: Im may also be the gardener of The Devil Fruits aka she/they created and cultivated them.

This is my favourite kind of twist. It's been known since, I believe, Enies Lobby that the five elders rule the world, as well as the existence of the empty throne and the swords of the former kings and queens. The idea that we have fundamentally misunderstood who's actually in charge this whole time was such a WILD twist, because it shattered all the lore we had built up for over a decade. More importantly, it makes me think. What "light" has Imu "extinguished" before now? Are there any we know of and didn't realise? Has he played a hand in any of the events of One Piece right under our noses?

The speech that Jimbei gave the Luffy after Marineford is very hard-hitting, but it also holds a deeper meaning behind it. Yes, Jimbei is definitely doing this to help Luffy overcome his trauma, but he's also doing this as not to "make the same mistake as last time." To bottle up your pain and suffering from the loss of a leading brother at the hands of one of the mightiest forces in the world, and to focus on who and what was left behind. If Jimbei had also implanted a strong message like that onto Arlong before he split from the Sun Pirates, we may have never seen the shitbag that he ended up becoming. There was no way Jimbei was going to make the same mistake twice when he sees a "little brother" going through the same thing as his last "little brother".

I know I wrote above, but this is a separate idea. The reason why Imu slashed the photos is because they all represent important figures. What it seems to be is that the Pirate King needs to have control of all the Ancient Weapons. Ancient Weapons: -Poseidon -Pluton -Uranus Joyboy = Luffy/Blackbeard (King of The Pirates) Poseidon = Shirahoshi (Control Sea Kings) Pluton = Vivi (The key since Pluton is a ship; Like Enel’s Ark Maxim) Uranus is the only one missing and it’s currently unknown. (I have a REALLY good idea about it, but I do believe Uranus will be the most important one) Guys I would appreciate some feedback on some of my ideas, I have been anticipating to discuss about this for a long time 🙂
