2021-10-02 23:39:25 +0000 UTCYeah, I honestly don't like how they handled Yamcha because of what a good guy he was in the original Dragon Ball. I hate that he was just used to hype up antagonists and made into a literal jokes in Super. I hated what they did with him in the game Kakarot even more.

2021-10-02 22:23:37 +0000 UTCOne thing I want to point out that is sorta ignored by the story, probably because Toriyama wasn't really thinking about it at the time, the fact that Bulma left the detail of all the dragon balls being scattered across the world when trying to convince Goku to help her. I believe this is totally unintentional by Toriyama's part since it's not really mentioned outside of Goku's surprise of it happening. What I'm trying to get at is that Bulma essentially (but likely unintentionally) tricked Goku into giving up his four star ball, his most prized possession so she could get his help. Again I want to make clear that I don't believe this was done to show Bulma being manipulative but was just something I wanted to point out.
