Maybe Yamcha was always a joke, but there are so many of the other minor characters in DBZ who were actually pretty great in the original. I only recently finished Super, and watching Roshi get to kick ass again was honestly one of the best parts of the whole series. It's sinking in that Curtis can't possibly have that appreciation for them yet, not having seen where they started. And you know what? You guys were right. That should be remedied.
