Was very cool to see the backstory for someone who up until the last couple epsiodes could have just been considered an unimportant side character, but who has been in the series since season 1.

2021-09-13 13:39:10 +0000 UTCSo I can't say for sure if it was meant to be that way, but I think the give and take convo at the end is supposed to mirror the one rem gave subaru back in season 1, with subaru now filling rems role and emilia filling subarus, also no I'm with ya, as much as I enjoyed it, I still go back to rem.
