On my social media accounts, Jamel & Jiang are gonna take over the Daily Life comics as the new protagonists from now on.
With Cancel Culture and all the Social Justice Movement on major social media, it became increasingly difficult for me to tell the story of me and my boyfriend through Lolo and Joe - two white caucasion men.
I can't complain anymore, 'cause the minute I do, some shit faces in the comments on social media are gonna shut me up by reminding me of the so called "White Privilege". I can't make any joke, 'cause someone from some minority group on the internet will be offended and try to cancel me. If I make fun of women, I'm misogynist. If I make fun of any people of color, I'm a racist. If I make fun of old people, I'm agist. God, those son of bitches have ZERO sense of humor. Basically, I can't make any joke anymore, ‘cause some Twitter assholes are gonna find some kind of reason to be offended and cancel me. Those SJWs might not be the majority of my fan base, but each one of them probably have a dozen twitter accounts, so they can flood my social media with false reports and hundreds of insults in no time with their shadow selves. (I’m not kidding, it happened ) In conclusion, it’s probably easier to tell my story through Jiang (Asian) and Jamel (Arab), cause the next time I get cancelled for telling a joke, at least I can cancel them back by calling them « racist » and « islamophobe » . Yeah, the Cancel Culture works both ways, babe.

I am a little surprised, confused and perplexed at the change of characters (because it's all News to me), but I'm glad to read "boyfriend" and I understand the choice/s made. Well maybe I could do with a change, I wouldn't mind seeing more of Jamel, but I'm glad I'll still see you and Joe here on P. Hope everything continues to go well for you and your art ... I especially hope sometime after Easter I can commission you, if you have the time and after I've saved up some more. Thanks for the update!
