I agree that you shouldn't have said that you already had that book, at least Julie knows you well enough to know what you like. You can always resell the copy you bought or donate it to a library or seniors home, since they always need new books. I actually donated all my wedding flowers to an old age home so they'd have something new to brighten the place up. Books are always appreciated as well.
