But all I can see is a society more and more divided, and we don't see nearly enough dispaly of love and solidarity on our TV screen. And I'm tired of seeing people fighting people on media. It's sad.

It's hard to face the reality that violence and injustice goes on around us, but when we don't speak up and fight back against it. We allow that injustice to continue. To any that loves holding on to someone just remember. The only reason we as gay people can enjoy SONG's work today is because enough people were outraged at homophobia and bigotry. Black Lives Matter. Stonewall Pride was Riot.

2020-06-17 21:48:50 +0000 UTCThis is how Jack and I are, we love cuddles especially during these times of the COVID situation, worrying about my dad being overseas on his last deployment, his dad’s health and my grandmother’s overall mental state. Plus fatherhood. But in these small moments, we take time just to call each other and see how each other is in a deeper level, even spent over an hour on the phone talking about stuff we see on the news with me being a black man and him a white man (half English from his dad side) and thankfully he fully understands the movements going on and he knows things have to change for the better. I’m so happy to call Jack my king and future husband 3 years in ☺️☺️

Please remember that LGBTQ + people started gaining rights by showing their anger against the police during the Stonewall riots.
