Yep, these sneaky farmers... But hopefully the strawberries they sell still taste better than the supermarket ones. XD

The strawberries we grew on our balcony were the same, small but very tasty. Unfortunately it's hard to find these tasty small ones on the market now, cause they don't look great thus less sales. The great looking ones often taste bad. That being said, the small ones I bought at the supermarket taste watery. XD

😂😂 this happens all the time in Mississippi and there are plenty of strawberry farms in the south but they will try to give you the the worst of the bunch

Here in Australia the little ones you get at green grocers have all the real strawberry flavour. The big ones grown for the supermarkets are watery & flavourless. (Same with the tomatoes & cucumbers.)

Jamais des fruits au supermarché ! Et jamais des fraises hors saison, c'est pââââs bon! J'ai acheté des cerises, ce n'est bon que pour en faire des projectiles..

I believe you, the fruits from the store often look pretty but taste like sugared water. But I just kept falling for these scams. XD

I got small ones from a local farmers market and they were honestly better than the store brought.

No worries, nothing goes to waste. I ate all of them, even though they all taste like water. 😂

That's so nice. Home grown organic strawberries often taste much better. We had a few of those on our balcony last summer. XD

Agree! Bring back more fruit and veg shops instead of Supermarkets. That said I do grow my own strawberries and they make great cocktails 🍸😊.
