Christmas Gift

I wasn’t able to get my family gifts this year since I’m only working my part time job for the holidays and not working as much as I would like to really sucks this year. Hell, even me working at Williams-Sonoma (known for their high quality and expensive cookware) puts a damper on what I want to buy my dad since he’s like a kid in a candy store and I don’t have 600 dollars to spend on a 10 piece nonstick stainless steel pan set. Luckily I have a few ideas for a gift for Father’s Day and his bday is October

It took my dad passing away 10 weeks ago for my sister and I to be able to spend time together without fighting. She’s 6 years older than me and can be incredibly judgmental and selfish. *knock on wood* she’s been so much better since we lost him. I’m hoping it stays that way, but I still have so much resentment for her lack of help with him. I’m really trying to let go of that

Believe me, my step brother and I have the worst relationship, and for good reason. The dude is an unprovoked, unapologetic ass. I never got to come out to my parents on my own terms because of the shit he did. I could be angrier, but to be perfectly honest, he's getting his punishment from being shackled the dumpster fire that is his life.

Yeah every family it's different and with its own story. In my case my sister is practically my mom because our parents died when I was 9 and she was 16, so she practically raised me and I love her the most in this world! Not only because she's my sister, but because she's a great human being! Thanks for the post Lolo and happy Christmas for both of you and all of your families, including Joe's sister!

When my stepbrother and I were kids we’d buy our parents bday and Christmas gifts with our allowance - money they gave us for doing chores - and he was always so cheap! He once bought his dad a package of ballpoint pens for 99 cents 😂😂😂

Love this. Used to take the labels out of all my clothing gifts I gave to my mother and father. If they knew the cashmere scarf, cashmere lined leather gloves and opossum fur hat cost more $300.00 they would not wear or enjoy them. Told them they wear made out of very fine rayon and rabbit fur. They were humble people. Didn’t put on airs as they would say. They loved the gifts. So soft. Lol.
