I’m not a art nerd but do love the history and beauty of the art that was made by humans centuries ago! It goes well with my ambition of becoming a History Teacher one day. From my own experience from what I seen yeah relationships can be hard though I have only ever dated one person in my life haha, but none the less you and joe do look happy and hopefully one day y’all can get married if the chance should arise. Thank you very much, Alejandro. I would say if you were an art nerd like me, I would definitely recommand Florence, cause there are so many arts to see and experience. We didn't visit all the cities in Italy, but among the few we visited, they all have their unique charms - Vernazz Cinque Terre, Torino. Also, just you know, my relation is not rainbow and sunshine all the time, it's harder than it is portrayed in my comics. But I'm glad that you see the sweet side of it. Do take advantage of your single days to explore and have fun, cause it's gonna be different when you are in a couple. Relationship is inevitable for most people, when love comes, it's hard to stop it. XD

Well... sweating... well... I think Paris is OK, most young guy/gals speak English to some level, the real problem is mostly the older generation which is not very fond of speaking English. Just remember to learn a few simple french words. In some situations, that might come in handy. 😀

You did absolutely the right thing, David. The language barrier scares a lot of tourists, that's probably why so many people travel in group with a guide. If you plan to visit France one day, it would be useful to learn some French, cause we Frenchmen (most of us) speak horrible English. 😂

When I worked at the Seattle Space Needle, seeing thousands of guests every day can be a bit challenging when it comes to some sort of language barrier and I always tried to use my hands to emphasize taking photos or asking questions about the guest’s visit to Seattle. Even had some Parisians come visit for a couple weeks from a trip they won at work and it was around the time of the World Cup final, one of the guys was really cute I have to admit. But I had to simplify my English a bit so he could understand me. So wish I took French in school instead of Spanish. Never too late to learn new languages

That would be super cool, Adam. But I also know translation is a lot of work. People usually think it's easy but it's not. I wouldn't want you to spend precious time translating if it's not something you enjoy. Anyway, you totally can if you enjoy doing that and I thank you for it.

Thanks. that sentence in French is already good, Adam. I did use Google translator once to tranlate my dialogues into Janpanese and it was not great. XD People called me out on that. Hope this one works better: 日本語は外国人のために学ぶのは難しい言語です。 言語を習得していただきありがとうございます。

Quasi perfetto, a parte la posizione di “qui”! Almost perfect, apart “qui” position (but it is a nuisance, not a mistake)... tell Joe “je parle peu français, mais je il comprends comme beaucoup d’Italiens” particularly when spoken by such a big boy (don’t be jealous!)

Lol, trust me, I was prepared and ready to use my horrible English to talk to Italians, but it turns out that we didn't need to. 80% of the local people we talk to speak or at least understand French (maybe because the two languages are so similar...?). XD Thank you, Kathryn. XD

I had the same problem when we went to Italy, and we got by with “do you speak English”. Most people did, but I find it a little embarrassing that I only speak English and no other language (GCSE French was so long ago I can just about remember how to ask how someone is 😳). It seems like you had a lovely time! I’m so glad for you two
