Cinque Terre
Added 2018-08-13 11:16:10 +0000 UTCAfter almost three years without any vacation, we decide to go on a skip trip and visit our charming neighbour - Italy. Our first stop is the beautiful village of Vernazza - one of the 5 centuries-old villages that make up the Cinque Terre, on northwest Italy’s rugged Ligurian coast. Colourful houses surround its small marina.
We arrived in the afternoon with plenty of tourists all rushing into this beautiful village. Luckily, our hotel room has a magnificent view on the sea. We went out in the evening, when most of the tourists are vanished, and took advantage of the quiet beach. Swimming in the ocean with mountains and these colourful houses surrounding us is truly a special moment of escape, a perfect start for our trip.

So jealous seeing all the delicious food you guys had, but hey at least you got to experience what Italy had to offer. Jack and I are planning on a few trips for next year and Italy maybe one of them since he knows how much of a history buff I am 😁😁
