This is my summary of "Rupaul's Drag Race All Stars 3" Episode 2. And I kind of agree with Thorgy's conspiracy theory: he was given the weaker part of the Diva Song (I mean, being someone who lives outside US, I did't even know who Stevie Nicks was before this episode). Thorgy thought it was totally unfair.
Here's how I see it: It's unfair, so... what?
Life is unfair and it will never be fair. Most things in this world are unfair. And guess what? Unless you were born with a name like Kardashian or Jenner, we are all set up to fail at a certain point. Not everyone is born to be rich or beautiful. Unfairness is something we could never get ride of. What matters is how you handle this unfairness!
Either you complain... or you learn to ride the unfairness and rise to the occasion.
Unfortunately, I think Thorgy got too much in her head and didn't really shine in this challenge. However, I understand his frustration. Since there are so much unfairness in the real world, when you entered a realty TV show like Drag Race, it's perfectly natural to expect something different... something... more fair.
On a side note, I felt Ben de la crème kind of threw the towel in the Lip Sync at the end just to reject the responsibility of sending someone home. Any thoughts?
