Many times in my life, I was told that I was not good at this, not good at that. Even the only thing that I am actually good at... drawing comics... has been questioned and criticised by many people at my earlier years. Many random people on the internet had no problem telling me that my work was shit, and I couldn't draw, and nobody would want my comics.
These are totally bullshit, don't listen to them. If you are an artist and you are facing the same horrible criticism or... worse... a total indifference from the public... please hang in there and keep trying new things. Never focus on your weakness. You might just be on the way of finding your own genius. XD

Many artists friends I spoke with through time told me the same, just like you wrote here: don't listen to haters or people willing to bring you down, and do not listen to this inner voice coming back to say you're not good enough, you'll never get money out of this, etc. Many artists come a long way, the one thing is keep going on and create. And then create some more!

Quelque part, c'est normal, cela relève de la sensibilité de chacun et, du coup, de son ressenti par rapport à une oeuvre. Après, ce qui est triste, pitoyable et absurde, ce sont ceux qu'on désigne généralement sous l'appellation "haters" : ceux qui démontent systématiquement une personne pour leur simple plaisir, car au final je ne vois que ça ! Le plaisir de faire du mal !! J'estime que c'est une véritable perte de temps et d'énergie de s'acharner sur quelqu'un et lui dire qu'il fait de la merde ou autre ! C'est nul en somme ! Mais ça fait partie de la nature humaine malheureusement. Le mieux est de croire en ce qu'on fait et d’apprécier le faire ! Et si, en plus, on touche des gens et on leur fait plaisir, c'est un réel bonheur. Ton travail est réellement excellent, j'enfonce une porte ouverte en disant cela ! C'est certain, c'est un style particulier... surtout par rapport aux sujets abordés. Mais la qualité est là, indéniablement, et il y a un véritable sens de la narration qui rend le quotidien que tu racontes vraiment intéressant ! Je suis très fier de t'apporter mon soutien ! Go on !!! ;)
