Today is the voting day for our new President. We went to the voting office quite early in the morning and successfully voted for Emmanuel Macron.
The voting procedure is quite simple. You were given one empty envelope and two piece of papers with the names of the candidates (one for Emmanuel Macron, the other one for Marine Le Pen). Then you go to an isolated cabinet and put the name you want in the envelope. At last you put the envelope inside an urn. The guy behind the urn will also shout out "Voted" to announce your duty is done.
In order to keep your vote confidential, you will have to take both of the names to the isolate cabinet even if you have already know whom you vote for.
In the cabinet, there's also a trash can where you throw away the name of the candidate you won't vote for. Well... let's just say, we saw almost only Le Pen's name in the trash can there, which isn't surprising. Nantes is a city which put Macron on top of the voting chart in the first round.
Now all we need to do is being patient, cause in a few hours, we will know who will be the new president of the 5th French Republic. XD
