United Airlines Scandal

Several disturbing videos posted to social media last Sunday show a man being violently dragged off a United Airlines plane out of Chicago after the company said they needed his seat for its crew. The man was screaming as security personnel pry him out of his chair, causing his head to bash against an armrest. He’s then dragged down the aisle on his back as horrified witnesses film on their phones and scream out in disgust.
I was upset watching these videos. The way how United Airlines treated their customer is absolutely unacceptable, it’s a violation against customer rights and human rights. What makes me even sadder is the CEO of this company showed no remorse or sympathy for the victim. The company CEO released a statement on Twitter apologizing for having to “re-accommodate these customers.” Well, He basically just said “ we did what we need to do to deal with the situation”, again, no apology, no sincerity whatsoever.
That’s why I decide to make a little free publicity for United Airline. I heard this scandalous company has been spending a lot of money on advertising itself. Well, here’s my little contribution. You’re welcome, United Airline.

Thank you, Joseph. That part also makes me sad. I think people are willing to forget and forgive if UA gave a sincere apology and make some big changes in services. However, they just don't seem to care.

And the song came out in 2009, why is this company still doing the same thing and if it's not worse... throwing humans out of their plane. I'm frankly speechless.

2017-04-12 16:16:17 +0000 UTCI tried to fly United once from Heathrow to Washington DC. The plane broke. The next day another plane broke and we were offloaded after three hours sitting in the plane on the tarmac. We never got to Washington and to be honest I was quite relieved. The staff were more interested in chatting to each other and looked very scruffy, AND they wanted me to swipe my credit card to use the inflight entertainment while being delayed. (In fairness their Heathrow ground crew were as helpful as they could possibly be). But it's still the right thing to do to expose these injustice. We might have no power to change United Airline, but doing the right thing is the right thing. And if everyone we love does the right thing, we might be able to change things a little bit.

People get worked up about stuff like that, but in the long run they will always choose the cheapest service, no matter how bad they are treated :-)

Along with them not allowing a custom made expensive guitar where they just mercilessly drag in the ground and toss it around till it break. And they are refusing to pay for damages.
