3 years ago I was so upset about the negative comments on gay people and don't know why being gay was wrong. That has confused and terrified me for a long time. But then I learned from people like you that I did nothing wrong and being gay is so wonderful. Now I have so many gay friends and live a very very happy life. Someone doesn't like that? They can go fuck themselves. I don't live for them XD

Not too long ago I put a poem from Walt Whitman on FB. It was one of his war poems that spoke to me about how as a country we can get over this bump in the road that is Trump and the divisiveness he fosters. Someone I went to school with, who I had been trying to hold civil conversations with, immediately decided it was a poem against Trump and basically decided to interpret it in the most negative way possible, so I didn't argue his interpretation, allowing that poetry is subjective, then I told him that we are unlikely to ever see eye to eye on anything because his first reaction is to see something negative in my posts, where sometimes I post things non-political that I just hope people enjoy, because FB is full of too much acrimony and negativity. While he apologized, he hasn't commented on anything I have posted since. I was surprised how well being nice worked (though I think it was the nice but made him feel stupid sort of thing). Haters will hate, but there is no reason to listen to them, and definitely no reason to let them make you feel bad. Keep up the good work. I enjoyed the Zelda animations, btw.

Well, understand about not finishing it right now. It does hold up without a conclusion. You have an amazing ability of keeping my interest in each book but then wanting more after each book. So beautiful. Truly reminds me of my old comic book days and why I enjoyed them so much. It actually reminds me me of my mother. She got my brothers and me started on comic books because we all had trouble with reading. She thought it was a shame because she enjoyed reading so much. Now my brothers and I all enjoy reading as much as as our mother. BIB is such a wonderfully imagined and drawn story as much as all your others. You are so talented. A privilege to know you. So happy you are willing to share your life in drawings.

Thank you Danny. It remains a regret that I haven't find time to finish the story, but I do hope to keep working on BIB if my schedule opens up.

Just yesterday was rereading part of your series Bigger is Better and was so excited. I felt I hadn't read this chapter before but I had. Got to enjoy it anew. That series really holds up to rereading. So sweet. Hope you pick up that series again one day. So romantic.

I do everything I can to step away from the negative. It's a trap to pull you down to their level. I get rid of it as quickly as possible and try not to dwell on it all too much.
