Wtf?! The dream time is NOT over! 😡 You're great comic artist, Song. A lot of people like what you do, they wait for your works, happily discuss them with their friends, and they want to pay you. After all, how can a talentless artist earn 1K+ $ from Patreon only by 3-5 dollar pledges? - no, they can't. Your age and current status means nothing when you do exactly what you love. You are inspired by drawing and it is the reason #1 why you need not give up. So many people around hate their jobs and boring meaningless being because they're chained to their everyday duties and unable to find strength to realize themselves in this world (including me, he-he). Your b-friend should support you but don't reproach in any case. He is your prime support, you both are "the kings of the whole world" for each other. I'm so sorry that you are passing such hard period in relationships. Stay strong, do what you like and expect respect and understanding from your partner. ✊️

Don't give up! I am sure opportunities are waiting for you and it's not a chicken soup for the soul. Find ways to get a better paid-job related to art and sending out your resumes to big companies. Your works are appreciated by people and some of the companies will do the same. Try to be more innovative with your work and your career! Keep faith! Also, communication is critical in relationships! You can make through this crisis!

You can't let him do this to you. You can buy a low income house or just live the way you are now. Things will progressively change as your art gets better known. Your boyfriend needs to support you even if you fail which you won't. He can't tell you what to do. Please tell him so. He is hurting you by stomping on your dreams.
