Status Report on v23.5 and Ushris Art Teaser

And to answer the obvious question, Ushris is one of Beris' hellhound sisters, who helps manage the labyrinth. This is a rather early teaser as she wont get in game until the labyrinth is done.
(She has 0 to do with the Venefica quest I'm still working on. And aside from art the Labyrinth is not in progress.)
She is the 3rd of the 4 Hellhound sisters. I hope to have art for all of them for when the labyrinth update actually happens. But I'm unsure if this will be the case when I finally get there.
Now for v23.5 I'd have liked to have this update out today, but I'm going to push it back until the stuff I'm working on is in a more complete state. While I could put out an update now, the Venefica quest portion would be very jarring to engage with as it is. And that's a larger part of the update.
I think I should have the back area exploration all finished up by next weekend. I think. Including reporting back to Elly on what you've found in there.
Then once that's out, I'll work on the finale of the quest, which will be focused on a confrontation, and some things for the aftermath of it. Then I can finally get on to working on the labyrinth.
I remember when past me thought the whole Venefica thing would be like, 2 weeks of work tops. Boy I sure was horrifically wrong. >.>

But I'm never really consistent with status reports xD I should probably work towards at least a little more clarity there. I do also post random bits of progress made in the discord here and there, but not everyone uses that. Maybe like, a weekly report or something if there's no update or other major teaser? Cause I also don't wanna spam people's emails xD

Although in this case, some minor spoilers is ultimately a good thing, since you are trying to gather donation from your audience. Obviously not tell us everything about the content you are working on, but some minor spoiler can help generate hype and get us excited for what's to come.

2020-11-02 15:43:34 +0000 UTCMy personal suggestion on giving backer feed back: Give scheduled report on what you already accomplished, and what's still need to be done for the next update. Don't focus too much on when you estimate the content will come out, which can easily result in delay due to technical, or personal difficulties. This game is on a great trajectory, the last thing you want is for it to unintentionally turn into an absolute shit show like Lilith's Throne. That aside, the art is great as always. You sure spoil us with this tease of 4 hellhound girls down the pipeline.
