Forest Dungeon Structure Poll

Before I'm actually working on the forest dungeon content, I'd like to get a poll on this.

Would you prefer if the forest dungeon was structured in a more static manner soy you can run around inside it like the temple, or would you preferred as is, being a linear run on the first go?

This is just so I know if it's actually worth the effort to make it more defined and structured.

Also if structured wins, the change may not be in the v20 update itself and may be in a post update depending on how the v20 update goes for content and time.

One thing that might be good for non-structured areas would be an option to visit NPC locations (like Trisha's tavern or Jora's lair) without going through the whole area. Not from the start, after you beat the area and finish their events.

I loved the structured layout of the Will-Power Temple. The option to normally explore it after beating it was nice too. I would like having this be the norm. Exploration for pre dungeon and layout for inside the dungeon.

I am not a fan of structured as that requires me to learn the layout and is just more complicated for very little gain. I cant talk for others but i play erotic games for the erotic part and not for engaging gameplay

Unless you plan making all future areas / dungeons structured, it's fine as it is.

I believe that Cryswar, Tsarius, and SpectralTime have touched on all the points. The will-power temple has events that play toward a structured setup. I don't think simply creating a similar environment will "Add" anything. Events or being "lured" into a direction based on a player's taste for example could make it really pop but unless you have something concrete in mind I believe it is more viable to press forward and make those tweaks after completion.

Tribe

Because it doesn’t have as many puzzles and nonplayer characters as the mountain temple, I think it works fine as is.

SpectralTime

As much as I do like the structured setup, I'm in favor of any option that gets content out faster.

Tsarius

Personally, I'm fine with it as-is. I like the seeming randomness of the forest dungeon - the idea that you never really know when you'll turn the corner into an imp barracks or happen upon Mika's totally safe room. It lends a lot of ambiance to the forest dungeon being more of of a maze than just a straight or forked line. I mean I wouldn't be mega butthurt about it becoming set, I just don't think it actually ADDS anything to the forest dungeon and instead removes a bit of its character.
