Lore Cheat Sheet

I know things can get confusing but I'm here to help. This is 4/8 pairs now introduced (Judas & Lucas doesn't count as one).

I'll update this whenever I reveal new lore! TBA (to be added) indicates the spots where you can expect more stuff.

SOO & BLAKE

TIMELINE:

• Childhood friends

• Soo cut ties to Blake when they were teens

• Reconnected at college

• Dating now as adults

PEOPLE THEY KNOW:

• Venti - Soo's friend (as much as someone can be Soo's friend..)

• First - Blakes friend

• Lucas - Blakes friend from college

• Hayden - Soo's work acquaintance

Their world revolves around the other. Completely impenetrable bond. Both grew up twisted because they met the other. Now they are codependent, obsessive. Control & giving up control. Extremely enthusiastic consent.

VENTI & FIRST

TIMELINE:

• Both very unhappy with their life before meeting the other

• Chance meeting, Venti takes First in

• Casual, unattached fun at the start, First falls in love

• Thinks its one sided, gets hurt by the casual affection

• Struggling with this, First gets a crush on Blake. Wants to be loved like Blake.

Angst and pining ending in happy mutual love. Sweet pair. Opposites attract: Insecure & confident. Calm & feisty. Repressed & open. Traits compliment each other. Both think meeting the other was the best thing to ever happen to them.

JUDAS & LUCAS

• After a difficult breakup with his girlfriend, Lucas meets Judas

• Vulnerable, easy to reel in. Judas seems very sweet

• Torment quickly begins. Lucas' sense of self disappears. His self worth disappears

• A plaything for Judas. Dangles the love Lucas so wants, just out of reach

Completely one sided love. Constant mental abuse. Coersion, demasculinization. Lucas totally crushed by what he goes through, does not know how to get out. Meets Hayden while stuck in this situation.
