Mother: First Page Redraws

I am the first to admit that I have a bad habit of redrawing pages. In Rabbit Hole alone, my "redrawn"-folder has 30 pages.. oops (though some of them are minor changes).

While I agree that redraws are usually the deathbell for a webcomic, that really isn't the case for me. I am always confident that the redraws I do, make me more invested in the comic. Not less! That is the case here too. I felt really unsatisfied with the pages I'd made, and didn't feel any drive to work on them.

When I redrew page 1, I realized that this was my FOURTH time doing that. I promise that this will be the last, ok.. we're moving forwards from now on.

So, some commentary from me:

1st picture (newest version): I like it! I think adding some blue hues to the comic was a good choice. The greyscale versions look a bit dull now, in comparison.

2nd picture: This is the style I drew those 10 pages so far, in. I think it looks fine! I like how the blood and the forest look. But in the later pages this style starts to crumble for me.

3rd picture: Damn this is so... bare.. and the cubs are WAY TOO HIGH, it looks so weird. I do think the forest looks cool and eerie though!

4th picture (oldest version): "Oh that's a nice concept art", I hear you say. But no, this was an actual finished page. Oh lord! I wanted the style to be SIMPLE but this is just too much. No thank you!
