Alright, let's get started!
I first got the idea for Rabbit Hole when I was reading the short prologue that a manga called Doubt (created by Yoshiki Tonogai) had. It was about a group of rabbits trying to figure out who among them was the wolf, so that they could kill it.
A scary scenario about cute bunnies really resonated with me, and I decided to make my own horror comic about bunnies!
Now, it was really difficult for me to make the idea my own, and I made some test comics, trying to feel out what I was wanting to create and what it should look like.

Drawing style wise, I think this one came pretty close to what I ended up using. I wanted to use lots of red & black because I think it created an unsettling atmosphere. I also wanted to make the rabbits talk kinda weird, not using full sentences. Maybe it worked here (or not?), but it wouldn't have worked for a full length comic I think.

This was a school assignment, we were told to create a comic page using mixed media, so this wasn't a serious contender for the comic's actual style. But here I was already using only red, black & white, and had come up with the idea of the pit too!

So here are the last changes made! I made a one shot comic about the idea (10 pages) that later ended up becoming Rabbit Hole's prologue. I changed the white into more yellowish color and added a texture over the whole page too.
When making the prologue pages, I wanted there to be no actual panels separating the different images. But again, it worked for a short prologue, but for the rest of the story there had to be proper panels.
And that's how we got here! Thank you for reading. :)
