2025-04-09 01:04:39 +0000 UTCI took Piper and Lachlan at the monastery very differently . I didn’t get she was annoyed that he was there (didn’t she invite him earlier for support)– she was annoyed. She didn’t like it . I thought he was comfortable – ate the food, slept well, was completely engrossed. She nibbled at the food, was staring at the ceiling all night looking hot and sweaty, she was noticing how dingy it all was. I don’t think she was annoyed with her brother – she was annoyed with herself – she isn’t the person she wanted to be.

2025-04-09 00:26:52 +0000 UTCOn the intro: I have puzzled over the illustrations. Here's my takeaways: 1) Walton Goggins -- he's shown alone in a tower with a shadow moving over him. This is very similar to Jennifer Coolidge in season two, she was also trapped in tower in her illustration. so I did take this as a clue that Rick was a likely victim. 2) John Gries is also shown alone in his tower but he looks really happy and he's surrounded by gold and there's no shadow. Then the camera cuts down to his gate, where a lizard is going in and a young man is looking outward seemingly guarding the lizard's back. I definitely thought this was Belinda and her son even before the finale. Some people thought maybe Tanya was reincarnated into the lizard? I don't know about that but there were several encounters with lizards in Belinda's story. SO it was super exciting after the finale to see that get acted out in the events of Belinda and her son going into Greg's house and getting their share!! 3) Aimee Lou Wood's I did not understand until after the finale. The wildcat who is eating the half deer is seen earlier in the montage with no name on it. Then Scott Glenn, playing Rick's dad Jim, gets added to that wildcat image hunting the deer in the finale -- so now I actually interpret the wildcat as Jim and the deer he's eating is poor Rick 🥺 because Scott Glenn wasa total freaking monster, and exposes himself as the evil lurking behind the scenes all season ... with Chelsea being one of the animals approaching as the carnage is happening 🥺 as she did during the final shootout between Rick and the bodyguards 😩😭😩 so just like last year, I think reading these images does work but it only really works after the finale when you understand what they mean. And as Ronnie said I agree you can read them along the way to see what the characters are up to 💗🤍🪷

2025-04-08 15:42:43 +0000 UTCI cried all day yesterday. you guys always make me laugh so I wasn't ready to laugh. But today I'm ready 😂. next time White Lotus is on I'm not watching it week to week. It was just too much torture. I'm going to wait until it's at least halfway through to jump on board -- and ideally I would wait until before the penultimate episode is released. I do the same thing, Ronnie, I just get really interested in something and then I can't stop consuming media about it and a lot of the media is just bad. 😂🪷🤍💗 so hopefully next season I can use a little more self-control for my own viewing experience.

Is this a common sort of generational thing? I ask because I'm from somewhere with distinct accents and the kids inherit them, and so I'm wondering if there's like a cultural shift or if this is just a random part of the show we just won't know about?? Thanks!!!!

Filmed in Thailand at the Four Season, Koh Samui; it was heart-wrenching knowing the deadly 7.7Mw earthquake just devastating Thailand. But highly recommend; like Moby Dick, it explores themes of purity, evil, symbolism, Buddhism, Thai culture, and nature -presenting as beautiful and terrifying. Stunning visuals & story-telling. A+++
