2025-03-26 10:47:17 +0000 UTCI took an early retirement package from AA 2021. Dealing with aggressive pax yelling & threatening the FAs during Covid wasn’t fun anymore. It was exhausting. When I first started, we had trips with long layovers so the crews could go out together. We had a lot of fun. I worked mostly all over the US, Canada & Mexico. It was great. After 9/11, cutbacks occurred in every aspect of the job. Long duty days, no breaks, no food, many legs per day, and short layovers, after working 12-13 hours per day. So, I am familiar with hotel chains, inside of hotel rooms, and of course, airports. I loved my job. I worked with different people all the time, stayed in some really nice cities. It taught me a lot about different cultures from people all over the world. I made some great friends and have wonderful memories. I was based in Dallas TX and New York. New York was a blast after I learned how to navigate around the different boroughs. I loved talking to the people in my area. People are straightforward, direct, but have big hearts. Give me a New Yorker any day. 🍎♥️

Always in construction, old, and you walk FOREVER to get to your next gate. Sidebar: when learning airport codes in FA training, I would try to connect the initials to something I could remember & understand. For me, CLT will always be “clit” in my head. Sorry not sorry. 🤪 Ronnie, never stop smiling. You have such a beautiful smile.
