I know everyone says she is the villain, but I actually feel really bad for Whitney. I feel like she is in an unhappy marriage and seeking the love and camaraderie elsewhere (online, the girls...) and just continually misjudging things and not sure how to connect. Through rest of show it is so clear how badly she wants to be chased and wanted and feels unwanted in all aspects of her life. I also think there is some toxic mormon BS there that makes her feel like she should be more "entitled" to love than someone like Taylor because she is more "good" and "holy" and doesn't understand why Taylor gets "more" (views, love, forgiveness etc.) than she does...

Sadly many women stay in physically or emotionally abusive relationships for a variety of reasons. It can be very hard to leave a controlling spouse. I feel really bad for this Jen. She’s trapped. MEANWHILE, I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THESE MORMON WIVES RECAPS. Laughing so hard in public.

They'll justify just about anything for themselves if they want it badly enough and don't really know scripture or care how their viewed, ie mountain dew is full of caffeine and they chug it. It's honestly about how you're going to be perceived by others.
