You inspired me to look up newer reviews and was gratified to find a lot of people with the same experience we had. I took the time to heart every one of the reviews since I’m still mad about it 😂

2024-09-15 11:54:09 +0000 UTCOH MY GOD. Ben!! I worked at Patrick’s back then. He was a raging alcoholic who would regularly tell off customers. It was chaos. I have soooo many stories! I would have people constantly pull me aside and tell me I should find somewhere else to work because I was so nice and he was such a lunatic. I wonder if I was the server that forgot your drinks! 😬 prob not - but in my defense, we didn’t have “sections” at that place so we would literally have tables on the front patio, inside, and back patio all at once. Bananas. Definitely one of the craziest places I’ve ever worked, but all us girls were young, best friends, and made loads of money so somehow we rationalized it. We stuck it out till one day we showed up to work and he was sitting at the bar crying about how he had to close the restaurant permanently. I took two years of pent up fury and unloaded on him and stormed out. Don’t feel anything but vindicated for your review!!

2024-09-14 15:23:02 +0000 UTCI would love if we could bring back nuanced reviews! Anything less than 5 stars is considered a failure and prompts a "oh no, what did we do wrong?" response. Normalize 3 and 4 stars being OK!
