Chapter Forty Nine - Arthur's Greatest Move.

A few days have passed, Dalerus has made his way out of the Kingdom and with his nice little Wagons he is heading towards Salmon River Kingdom. Although paranoia hasn't completely left Z or here best known as Ursa, she does feel a bit more relieved.

The setbacks here and there have caused her a headache, but at least now everything is going the way it is supposed too. The 5 men are spreading the word like wild fire, Dalerus is going to bring 3 ships here in a matter of weeks and Z herself is safe.

What's more, she has found here a possible lover, although they are both from Salmon River Kingdom come to think of it. Now, when she thinks about Dalerus, a breeze of a different man hits her face.

She has never met a man, who doesn't directly flirt with her or comment upon her attractive features. On the opposite although with a mix or direct and indirect, he shows genuine care and was willing to drop his 50 Gold Coin Pay for the sake of her safety, who else in their right mind would drop half a million bronze coins for love?

Well now, it isn't certain if he loves her, at least not certain to Z. But it sure seems so, and even if he doesn't love her, having him as a friend feels just as rewarding. After all he has his roots deep in the transporting and merchandise business, he can be helpful later on if the Chapel assigns Z with another task.

Here in the school on the other hand, Z finds it quite relaxing although there is always something going on. Unlike in the shop, there are a lot of books here and she is most commonly seen reading books here.

When she isn't reading, she is observing the schedules here. In a way, studying human behaviour and schedules is like training for her. Because when she has to terminate an organisation or domain from the roots, she has to know what ticks.

Six female Guards as paid, are following her most of the times. It is their responsibility to protect her at all cost, although they have to continue with their own training since they aren't completely ready yet.

One of the six ladies, is the large one introduced earlier. Her name, Alice Kane. Telling a bit about herself, Z figured out that Alice knocked out at least 3 Guards before she was pinned down and afterwards dragged to the River and well... you know the rest.

It obviously wasn't a good day for Alice or her husband currently working on the Mines, but damn she has a lot of motivation and strong minded. That day is far past behind her, and her blue eyes carry the most rage and pure hunger of revenge.

It has come to her acknowledgement that the way of hurting or killing the Guards, is all linked to the Great Arthur Hare. And of course she understood that the higher her rank is here in this job, the easier she can get away with crimes or more complex work, such as getting her husband out of the mines legally. Helping Arthur gain power will one way or the other help her.

Shape-wise, Alice stands 6.2 feet tall! A great size I'm aware, and commonly uncommon throughout women. Strength wise, we can fairly rate her as a 3/7. It might not be the biggest level, but a punch on the face from her can knock out a common low rank Patrol Guard.

She has thin black hair, usually tied in to a bun but aren't that long either. When let down, they only measure a bit below her shoulders. She has a kind looking round face, and a bit large too enough to meet with the rest of her body size.

Attractive wise, she has enough curves to attract most lusty Guards here although she has smacked many of them until now for staring at her! Many Guards tried to arrest her, but the more they approached her the stronger she would hit!

Arthur Hare dug her out of trouble many times, and although at first insistent for her to stay out of trouble. Later on he allowed it, someone as strong as Alice embarrassing Guards like this will imprint a sense of fear towards the ill minded.

A lot of Guards started to understand that messing with one of these 80 ladies will get your ass kicked, and possibly obtain a fine as well since they are under Arthur Hare's protection who can pay the authorities to turn a blind eye.

Alice is 29 years old, and was recently married before they fled their homes due to the war happening in Makemis. Meaning they don't really have any kids, and both her and her husband's families are in Makemis, refusing to leave their homes.

Alliance-wise, they both are from the EarthQuaking Alliance although they both don't have any powers. Now they are here, trying to get their lives back together from the absolute zero.

"Ursa" came to like Alice a lot, although they don't share the same race or Origin for that matter. Alice is a unique lady, loads of strength and motivation too. It is a bit hard to comprehend that she has to leave the ladies here after a few months and head to Salmon River Kingdom.

"Where are the rest of the ladies?" Z asked, curious since usually there are at least 4 of them around her providing around the clock protection.

"They are catching up with their work Miss Ursa." Alice answered, reassuring her costumer and new friend. That's right, friend.

It is rather interesting how she is making friends here who might not prove useful after this main mission is completed, but Alice is a dessert she couldn't let slip by.

Although she would demolish an opponent, to her friends and costumers she is as sweet as honey. Basically, what you give her she returns it 10 fold. Greet her, and she will honour you like family. Cross her limits, you'll be walking back with one leg.

"My apologies if I ruined all of your schedules." Ursa apologized, truly feeling sorry for these kind ladies although she knows it is for the best.

"No no, there is no need to apologise. You are paying us well, providing us with some training and I've heard the other ladies say that they feel more important now, considering that they have been given a task this early." To give in more specifications of how important this is, she added. "We weren't supposed to work before August."

The quickest in math, she first complimented Alice's work ethic. "Arthur can be considered lucky, you obviously love your job." And afterwards asked. "So you were supposed to work full time after 3 months in training?"

"Yes indeed and thank you." Alice answered shortly and afterwards specified. "The six ladies, myself included. Who are Guarding you, are the strongest physically but also know how to read and write."

"So knowing how to read and write gives you a head start?" Ursa asked curiously, this is definitely an unheard of type of business and can be valuable information. She wants to see how things tick here, what works and what doesn't.

"Indeed, the rest have to train for 6 months. Arthur specifically told us who will start early, that this is more like a test. To see how things flow before all 80 ladies are put in to work." Although it might not be requires to tell such information to a Costumer, she sees Ursa as a friend so she isn't holding back.

"Arthur is a smart man, no wonder he has 10 Businesses... Um well 11. This plan looks flawless." She complimented, to avoid any possible suspicion.

"Thank you." Arthur spoke out, as he was walking close by aiming to go inside his office, with an Arena Ground Tapper following him. He didn't keep the conversation long, just walked by to Continue with his tasks.

"The great Auica Hynde." Ursa glanced at amazement. "Arthur's greatest move yet." She complimented, although in her mind she hated how good he is at this. Because inevitably, the Arena popularity will increase the population here.

Alice added. "Indeed, we have good things going on for us here. Let's hope it lasts."
