"What the?" Tybalt panicked as he took a couple of steps backwards to acknowledge who is behind him.
"Setar?" Aldrich glanced upon the man in confusion, hoping he didn't hear anything.
Tybalt grabbed Setar by the neck, lifted him up a foot above the ground and bashed him against the bathroom walls. Obviously over reacted, but who would be dumb enough to spook a 6.4 foot man like this?
"What did you hear?" Tybalt asked boldly, obviously being in the superior position.
"Just about everything." Setar remained calm, although his airflow being cut short and his face becoming red. "But I'm not going to rat you out!" He stated, hoping that Tybalt won't over react enough to kill him.
"Let him go." Aldrich requested with a loud whisper, knowing that Tybalt trusts him only and would respect his word. "I don't think he is an enemy."
Tybalt loosened his grip around Setar's neck, and saw the man dropping down lightly and gasping for breath. Seeing that the situation has calmed down, Setar tried to explain. "Look, I want to get out of here and so do you."
"So?" Asked Aldrich after taking a glance at Tybalt, realizing it quite clearly that he would attack by the slightest request. "How can you help here?" Aldrich has already put the puzzle together thanks to the obvious signs, Setar seeks cooperation.
"You told me that Guards are a problem, what if I told you that I can get rid of them quietly with a 70% chance of success." Setar oddly specified in percentage, making one think that he keeps charts on his kills.
"How can you guarantee success if you can't even hold a sword right?" Tybalt asked, with paranoia rising in his mind. "I saw you train, you are Level 1 in both aspects."
"Look I just wanted to buy myself some time, obviously if I reveal my true levels I would be sent in the Arena Battlegrounds." Aiming to gain their trust, Setar gave in some specifications. "I'm level 3 on both."
"That makes sense." Aldrich backed him up, and tapped Tybalt's shoulder asking him to calm down. "How could you make Guards quietly disappear though?"
"Look, I've fled Makemis because I had bounty over my head. I'm an assassin and even worked for a couple of Kings." This at least explains a little bit how Guards can be gotten rid off, but this story doesn't ring a bell.
"If you worked for Kings, why the hell are you here?" Asked Tybalt, with his eyes popping out in anger as he let out a loud whisper. "Wouldn't they protect you?"
"No." Answered Setar directly, and continued to explain. "I served my purposes and was quickly back stabbed, both Alliances want my head."
"And where do you plan to go if you get out of here?" Aldrich asked to determine his true intentions to the furthest extend.
"Any place is better than this RatHole, first I will go to a nearby village and the day after that I'm making my way towards Yllilemezat." He specified, making it clear that he doesn't want to deal with the King here.
To give a little bit of specifications, Yllilemezat is a Country 20% smaller than Kasterema. A portion of its territory stands close to Kasterema. Tuserial is above it and Makemis is underneath it.
Of course Aldrich had to ask, "Will you help us kill the King?" To see if Setar would prove further useful to the Arsenal.
"No, my family is long gone in the Makemis war. He had no one of mine to kill." In a way, it would sound like a pride here since he didn't watch his family die or get raped. But in the other way, he probably saw it on the War back at Makemis.
"Good enough for me, if you can get us out of the Arena we can part ways." To get in to more specifications and possibly make the Aresenal stronger he asked. "Can you teach us a couple of your tricks, obviously you know how to survive."
"Yes but not now, tomorrow in the training rooms I will teach you everything I know."
...
In the next morning, they've kept their word play casual. They acted towards each other as fellow team mates who don't want to see each other die too soon. Although it was shocking for a few to see Tybalt connect with someone else for once apart from Aldrich.
With a thin but yet durable cloth, Setar showed one of the easiest killing method of them all. Choking Guards or any enemy. It works to their advantage, because the enemies can't yell out due to the air restrictions and can be taken out in the dark smoothly. The only thing of which Setar or anyone else would need to do, is hang on long enough until the enemy drops dead.
Of course when he demonstrated the move, he didn't pull it tightly against his team mate's neck. Tybalt would likely freak out and crumble this 5.8 foot tall man like a piece of parchment. He just described where to hang on it the opponent is too big.
To handle a big opponent, Setar would need to tie his own legs around the enemy's. That way, he can't be thrown down that easily and in another way will tire the opponent out.
The rest of the Warriors in the Arena, saw Setar's way of fighting as weak and cowardous so they didn't really get second thoughts of his skillset. "You need to face enemies head on!" Is what most claimed.
The day went smoothly, and when Aldrich and Setar had the chance they would exchange some words. Often counting the Guards and trying to observe their schedules. As for Tybalt, he felt far too paranoid to tag along with such training.
Although paranoia might be getting out of hand, for example Tybalt even started to over think what other Warriors say. Even greetings sound like some type of secret message or threat to him, although literally none have such intend or work.
"Today a lot of Ground Tappers are talking about the Zamerians being attacked." Aldrich pointed it out, thinking that Setar might be more informed at such a topic. "Do you think that Bear Bloods could have possibly done it?"
"Well, there are murdered or raped family members in line. I doubt that anyone plans to fight here for a title of a Champion." Setar answered, pointing out the obvious and continued to explain. "Some of the reasons behind the wars in Makemis, is because us Bear Bloods don't like to be told what to do or restricted."
"You do have a point there." Aldrich answered lightly, trying not to loose his focus on training and keeping his voice low enough for his words not to be carried around. Even slandering the Zamerian name can get one in trouble. "I hope they managed to kill enough Zamerian Soldiers."
"That doesn't really concern me." Setar answered boldly, and gave rather selfish comments after. "They can try to attack each other as much as they can, I just want to get out of here."
Seeing that Aldrich didn't take such wordplay so lightly, he shifted towards another direction with his wordplay. "The havoc they might have caused there, will keep people busy. Coincidentally it will make our escapes smoother."
...
Midnight broke, the first challenge they had to face was breaking a door open but not loud enough to grab any attention be it from Arena Warriors or Guards, meaning they can't actually break it in half. The door they had to open, was the one keeping them inside the sleeping area building.
To their dumb luck, Sefar is rather skilled when it comes to picking locks. It is a part of being an assassin I suppose, it paid off one more time. Luckily they did not grab any more attention, because even the two other remaining Bear Bloods in this Blue Team aren't so trustable.
With illumination scarce throughout the training yard at such time, which might not be the best idea. They managed to tip toe their way closer to the walls, using the shadows and building walls to their advantage. They had to go on with this manuveur for a hundred meters until they reached the walls though.
Once reaching the walls, it became Sefar's bright idea to use the Iron coated nets and fences to climb up the wall. Although at the top they found it difficult, because they had to avoid spikes so they don't get cut.
It was easiest for Tybalt because he could stretch a bit and reach the walls without even climbing the fence all the way up to the top. Sefar didn't struggle too much either, with the aid of a little jump he got his hands on the stone wall.
Aldrich suffered the most, although it can't be considered a big problem. He had to stretch out to his absolute limit and even cut himself a tad bit, Tybalt reached out and carried him over the wall.
Once they've got up undetected, a Guard holding a torch walked over to check the area. Although not in panic, he was just passing by as part of his shift I suppose. Lucky enough, the three Bear Bloods managed to hide with the aid of the watch tower close to them. Sefar even hung on the side of the wall, rather easy for him.
He made the other part of the plan possible, Sefar went in to action. With the little bit of cloth he always carries, he jumped on the Guard's back and quickly tied the rope around him. Using his weight he smashed the man down to the ground, not allowing him to breathe or scream.
When Kazer heard out Tybalt and Aldrich's plan last night, he was not a fan. Moving in the shadows in a wide Kingdom like this will eventually get them captured, it is hard even for an assassin.
However, if they are dressed as Guards... no one will prove troublesome towards them. They can walk out of the Kingdom and even not get bothered by the surrounding 24.5 hundred Soldiers.
The Guard or which Sefar just took down, is rather small. Perhaps a little above 5.5 feet tall? At this case he proves perfect for dressing Aldrich. The next move after that? Rather more complicated.
Aldrich is about to walk towards a couple other Guards, claiming that the Arena Masters have asked for more Guards in the walls with paranoia rising due to the Red Team escaping yesterday.
As for the striped out body, they've dumped it near the net of where they climbed up too. It is a dark corner, no one will be able to notice it before dawn breaks.
