Either be it cheers or be it roars of hate, they thundered in the Arena Battle ground. Indeed this is the first ever battle which includes a Bear Blooded warrior! But what else is there to say in this glorious day? A special team has been accompanied by an advantage.
See due to the fact that so much focus is lend upon the Arena battle happening at the moment, most people including Guards have forgotten about other affairs and duties. Such as the fact that there still are 19 Bear Blooded warriors who can cause havoc the moment they see an opening.
While Patrol Guards or Castle officials in general might not be facing death any time soon, other individuals in Hawk Kingdom have a different fate. The target of the day are the Zamerians, and the inflictors are the Red Team.
The red team, as mentioned before have faced a lot of losses due to the ship sink of which happened as the slaves were being transported through the river, eventually meeting Hay Kingdom territory.
With the aid of "weird water" the ship was set in to a blaze and a couple hundred slaves died. The survivors swear that they saw Zamerian marked ropes, and Chapel Master Andonil Wehe here has indirectly admitted it.
The point is, although the Castle officials can't do much against the Chapel now, the Red Team has a crave for revenge. And they want to attain that revenge today, even if their lives are at stake. With families lost, what do they have to loose?
The twins were filled in with what they are supposed to do, and I think it is a fair time to do a quick introduction. As established, one of them is an EarthRipper and the other is an EarthQuaker. Weird I'm aware, but this determines that even enemies have mated.
The EarthRipper is named Ansell Kodaly. He is 25 years old, and so is his brother of course, they are twins. He qualifies as a Ripper (Level 2) in his abilities and when handling a sword he is at the Calm Feet Level(3).
Considering the fact that he along with his brother works out 15 hours a day, these levels don't sound appealing do they? Well the fact here is that they only started training at such an insane pace after the tragedy, after they lost their families.
Or best called, one family member. At that ship sink, the twins lost their 21 year old sister. It isn't certain what fate she had in a ship where slavers or even slaves could have used her, but the most important point here is that she is dead! Apart from that they have lost their parents in war.
The ship sink has either burned her or broken her bones with the lumber falling apart or the rocks at the river bottom, she could even have drowned if not any of the above.
Now, like the rest of the 5 Bear Bloods in the Red Team, these twins carry a thirst for revenge. A thirst that they want to quench regardless if they loose their arms or their heads.
The other twin, goes by the name of Ansis Kodally. You might have guessed that he too is 25 years old. The major difference here, is that he is an EarthQuaker. Amazing to see such twins carrying two different powers and at some aspects rare.
In EarthQuaking along with Swordsmanship he qualifies with Level 2. A bit less skilled compared to his brother, but it doesn't make a major difference here. If they manage to pull this scheme off and escape Hawk Kingdom too, it wouldn't be a surprise if they reach level 4 at this pace before they become 30 years old.
Getting back to the point, Edgar Iron Foot as the leader of this little revolution has found the best spot to initiate their clean escape. At the very bottom edge of the training yard, specifically near the fence of which seperates the Green Team from the Red Team, there is a blind spot.
Now due to the fact that the second walls of which surround the training yards and the arena battle grounds, are tall and wide. This specific edge can be considered a blind spot regardless of how many Guards were above the wall.
But it has a downside, if there was anyone in the training yard they would easily see the men making their escape. With a little luck and smart planning, there aren't many men in the training yard. Barely counts up to ten.
By the time when the Bear Bloods get underground, most will likely miss it. Meaning they wouldn't be aware of their actions, the Bear Bloods will disappear like shadows.
"Well, I'll be damned." Ansell spoke at a low tone, trying to compliment Edgar's work. "There really isn't anyone around."
"Their eyes are all on the legendary Black Arrow." Edgar specified as he just casually walked through the training yard along with his friends in war, trying to avoid suspicion. "If he doesn't kill his opponent in a matter of seconds, we should have at least a few minutes to make with our escape." He explained with the shared low tone.
The closer they walked towards the walls, the easier it was to determine that there aren't many Guards around. In the training yard there isn't any and on the walls there are about 5 of them patrolling the area.
Seconds can make a difference here, because even though low in number there still are 5 prying eyes which can send this revolution to the mud and step on it with two feet.
Edgar reminded, "Dominic, you know the procedure. When I say so, you will rip through the Earth right at this spot." Afterwards he gently slapped the foundation of the wall.
After a bit of a debate last night, the EarthRippers insisted that going underground is way too dangerous for Bear Bloods of their level, they can not control if the dirt ceiling above their heads will collapse or not.
So they decided to take a different approach, which in some terms is quicker. This wall is likely has a foundation a couple meters deep considering that men can walk over it, in other terms it is very stable.
Dominic Bear will sink two meters deep, and afterwards he is supposed to crack the earth open as little as he can so the other men can slip through easier. This task was handed to him since he is a few years older compared to Ansell.
As for Ansell, once Dominic slips through the gap he created which requires a bit of climbing up. Ansell will try to make the zig zaging hole they are in, wider so they can slip out easier.
This second task too could have been handed to Dominic, but it is better when the job is split. Success can be guaranteed.
"Now." Edgar whispered and afterwards repeated. "Do it now."
"Use the Grave Digger move." Ansell whispered from the background, in a way pointing out the obvious really.
Now this move is unique and interesting although very simple. Dominic stood a meter close to the thick stone wall, and to start off the power move he slapped the ground with his foot once. But of course an Earthquake won't come out of this since he doesn't possess such power.
Afterwards with his other foot, he slapped the ground once more. This time, both of his feet sunk in the dirt by an inch although it might not be so eye catching. It did unleash a crushing sound as well. And now, to finish it off he has to jump as high as he can with both feet raised up.
Slapping the ground with as much momentum as a human can gain from such a jump, he sunk down two meters deep. It might not be exactly two meters, but it still works.
The moment he sunk, the earth unleashed such a ear puncturing sound but it escaped unnoticed due to the fact that the Arena is roaring, whatever Black Arrow is doing, it is sure aiding the Revolution here although he isn't aware.
The two ground slaps earlier, signified a meter each. As a Level 3 EarthRipper, that's the deepest Dominic can go with one shot. He whispered, "I don't see the end of the wall yet."
"Go another meter deeper." Edgar requested and upon Command they saw Dominic's head popping out of the hole, because of course he jumped.
Afterwards, the crackling noise echoed a bit louder as he sunk a meter deeper but thankfully it didn't grab any attention. With a psycho look on his eyes, Dominic slid his finger across the underground wall support with a smirk across his face.
Now they can get on with the second procedure. "I'm ready." Dominic spoke at a low tone, but it was enough for Edgar to hear.
Edgar took another glance at his surroundings and noticed that one Patrol Guard who was previously the closest to them, is now walking away further practically being over 30 meters away.
"Continue with step 2." Edgar spoke a bit loudly once he stuck his head down the hole.
