Chapter 253 - 3, 6, 9

The situation that Timothy just faced, and suffered through, was beyond confusing. He didn’t know what to make of it, and come to think of it he was still shook up by the fact that he suffered numerous mental illnesses just a moment ago as well! A strong headache pumped on his forehead, and it wouldn’t go away regardless of how much he tried to heal himself. This headache also stemmed from the fact that he could not comprehend the creature, that odd being which he just met!

“What was he? I’m almost convinced that a mana god came down to mess with me again.” He muttered.

Timothy was always up for a challenge, but he feared that this challenge required a greater IQ than what he currently possessed! He was stumped for words, and didn’t know what to think.

For that matter, he put this issue aside just for a moment, and took comfort in the fact that he wasn’t threatened by this being, per se. This meant that the needle universe of Purpureus Mundi belonged to him now, without anyone competing with him for it! He had to understand the universe better if he was to master it, but as far as he knew, no other creature had direct access to this place like he did! He may have the sole ability to create its associated portals.

“I saw an alchemy lab down in the basement. Maybe this can be the best use of ‘old Mundi’ for now?” He thought.

For the time being, the greatest threats here were the giant bugs that lived in this universe, but that was about it. The bugs were killable too, and Timothy felt fairly certain that he could explode them one way or the other. It was just a matter of figuring out what substituted bones in the common bug’s body, which wasn’t a difficult task, he just had to dissect a bug, study it, and create an appropriate counter ability to fight them! He felt confident about it, so he didn’t rush with that task either.

However, since this castle belonged to him now, he wanted to get settled in properly. He had to get used to the castle’s features, and perhaps even sleep here for a couple of days. To a certain degree, the flow of time was at his command, so he wasn’t in a rush to do anything!

To feel more comfortable, however, he felt that it was best to remove the few corpses that were littered across the entrance of the castle. He could bury them, sure, but that would take too much effort, so he decided to do them one better. He decided to explode their skeletons!

Of course, he lifted them up and got them out of the castle first, so as to not make the castle ground’s entrance bloodier than it already was, but this took very little effort. The Bone Multiplier ability allowed him to move the corpses by grabbing onto their skeletons, and at his current power scale, this was as simple as waving his hands. He didn’t bother opening the main gate, and just pushed the corpses through the hatch on one of the towers.

“Maybe I can do something interesting here…” He pondered.

Once up there, he lifted them a hundred meters above the ground, and exploded their bodies one by one. Specs of blood rained down on his face, but he didn’t mind it, as he liked the idea of bathing in the blood of his enemies!

Gustav followed him up here, because he noticed that his friend was acting weirder than usual. Tim hadn’t yet spoken of what happened, of who he met, and rightfully so, because the event was quite confusing. Gustav didn’t try to pry any answers out of him either, but rather, he wanted to make sure that his distracted friend wouldn’t get attacked by some giant, flying bug while he was up there! He tried to keep his friend alive.

Timothy noticed Gustav, but he didn’t speak either, and exclusively focused on the last corpse that he was holding afloat. This corpse belonged to the master of the sect that used to reside in this castle, and quite simply, this was the strongest telekinetic mage that Timothy had ever met! He killed these guys by pure, dumb luck, because they were otherwise quite powerful, and difficult to deal with in any other situation. Now, he felt that it was time to study their powers, and perhaps make something new of it!

“His power essence is still floating above his head,” He noticed.

Now Timothy couldn’t absorb this essence, it was impossible because of the sole reason that such powers were difficult to absorb. He couldn’t absorb these powers even if he ate the flesh of these mages, it wouldn’t work!

Considering his arsenal of power, he went for the next best thing, which was to try and analyze this single essences of power. He wanted to figure out how telekinetic abilities were made, so essentially, he had to observe the associated mana channels within the essence, that were used in the common telekinetic ability!

Since he couldn’t absorb the ability, he simply kept it afloat, along with the dead master, and studied it. He found that the mana channels within this ability were riddled with these weird, intertwining circles that were symmetric to one another!

These circles also had lines within them, which were shaped like the letter S, and this made them look even weirder, but overall, the channels within this ability appeared to be quite balanced. It wasn’t like anything that he’d seen before, and math-wise, he could tell that the numbers three, six, and nine were used to build the entirety of this ability! He was amazed by what he saw!

“The spaces within the circles could be what makes this ability especially effective. It almost bends like the force of a gravitational pull itself, it’s… unique.” He muttered.

After studying this ability for half an hour, he decided to get rid of it, and it’s master’s corpse as well. He didn’t find any more use out of them, so he knew that it was time to let go of them, and at last, mark complete dominance of this universe! Well, he was now dominant in this specific time period of the needle universe, which may not be a lot to boast about, but he planned to make good use out of this castle!
