Chapter 218 - "6,000"

Timothy got the upper advantage in battle, regardless of how stupendous, and sudden his method may have been! There were still a few, strong dark mages within the bunch, but they weren't powerful enough to kill him, so their lives were at his mercy, and he wasn't planning on being merciful today, considering that this entire group had been looking forward to him being punished! Their death was inevitable.

Timothy exploded Sarinam’s head, and used the fractions of his skull accordingly! He separated the skull into forty-nine, bullet-sized fractions, and shot at the mages with them, piercing their brains in mere seconds!

This was the simplest way to attack them, and it was cheap too, which was handy, considering that these ruins were yet to fill up the dark side of his mana pool. He needed a moment to replenish his mana properly, but that didn't matter much right now, as he was already succeeding with what he had. He killed every one of them, using their leader's skull as a weapon - Conceptually, it couldn't get any darker than this!

“Hehe,” He grinned, “I'll be kind today, I won't steal your powers.”

“I'd much rather have you as slaves,” He remarked, and his kindness was double-edged.

This was the main reason why he hadn't exploded their bodies into a bloody mist to begin with. He was convinced that killing them wasn't enough of a punishment, meaning that he wanted them to worship him as well!

Firstly, he reconstructed Sarinam's skull using the Bone Multiplier ability, and afterwards, he started reanimating these people one by one. He used the Specialized Reanimator ability on them, and it so happens, this ability specialized on the proper reanimation of humans, amongst some other species, or monsters.

It was also very cheap to use. It cost him thirty dark mana points per person, so he managed to reanimate all of them for just fifteen-hundred dark mana points! The ruins around him filled his pool constantly, so he was making slaves for himself, virtually for free!

The Specialized Reanimator wasn't too efficient, however, so he spent some time fixing the organs of at least half of his new slaves, using the Bone Multiplier ability which allowed him to recreate or tinker with organs, other than bones. He did so in order to make them more healthy, as he wanted his undead slaves to be healthy, and conscious. He was very excited that he only had to feed this group fifteen-hundred dark mana points a month, to keep them kicking, it was beyond advantageous. He had his own little army of tall and buff dark mages now!

After completing his work, he went ahead and talked to Sarinam, just to further assert his dominance. “Who is your master, sir?”

“You call yourself… Timothy Testicles.” Sarinam answered, consciously, and bright as a button. “What else would you like to be called, Sir Testicles?”

“Looks like he's strong enough to read my mind, even without my say-so…” He muttered, “I guess that's how he found me.”

Afterwards, he directed himself towards his slaves, and said. “I am your master now, and that's the only thing you can call me, Master! If you call me anything else, I will force you to develop anal fissures! I hear it's very painful.”

The slaves heeded his command, and they didn't have another choice. However, he wasn't done harassing them, so he directed his attention towards Sarinam once more.

“How's that for punishment? Do you want to experience anal fissures, Sarinam?” He asked.

“That punishment is sublime in our community, but if the master pleases, I will endure the punishment.” The other answered.

“Jesus Christ! This is what I get for giving them a brain, they're… very honest.” He remarked, though, he was still having fun.

Timothy then tried to figure out his next course of action. The dark mages that he just killed, surely got him by surprise a moment ago, and now it made him wonder just how many of them were down here, because he needed to calculate what it would take to wipe all of them out!

This was no easy task, and come to think of it, he was still anxious over the fact that another man's soul was in his phantomized mana pool. He still hadn't figured out what to do with that fact, or how to feel about it, and yet he couldn’t even stop to catch a breath, because he had taken over the selfless responsibility of riding these ruins of evil. There was a lot for him to think about, plenty of plans to make, and worse yet, the system started distracting him too, which only overwhelmed him more!

[You killed fifty more Hunched Humans, so 100,000 system points have been added to your sum. In total, you've accumulated 289,000 system points.] She beeped.

“This is getting out of hand,” He thought, “I really have to sit down and assort my powers. If I can upgrade my MQ just a little bit more, then it won't matter if my mana is bracketed or not. I killed one Expert Mage, and I can kill another one with the right tricks…”

This vast amount of system points added more pressure over his shoulders, but he just had to live with it. Progress of any sort, was like a double-edged sword, and it only cut the progressor.

Timothy put all of these issues aside for now, and focused on his slaves instead. He had to focus on the situation at hand, because it was very likely that there were a bunch of other dark mages within the Ruins of Aqumus. He was sure that there were more, but he just couldn't figure a solid number to use as an example.

Instead of guessing, he went ahead and asked Sarinam about it. “How many of your bastarding friends are down here?”

“Six thousand,” The other answered, honestly. “It is best if you flee, master, as we cannot protect you from the three, dark, Arch Mages!”

Timothy felt as if his soul shook, when he heard the name Arch Mage! He did not want to fight a dark mage of that caliber right now, because he was sure that he would fail, regardless of what powers were at his disposal. He couldn't even imagine how high of an MQ an Arch Mage would have, and he was terrified!

“I wasn't even sure if dark mages can become Arch Mages…” He muttered, and then asked. “How long will it take for them to realize that I killed you, and your friends?”

“A day, at least. Old Aqumus is large, and each Arch Mage is preoccupied right now.” Sarinam answered, “My old father, Sarinus, is preoccupied, he won't notice my death today.”
