Chapter 204 - "Would you hump a coconut crab, or..."
Added 2024-10-13 14:37:32 +0000 UTCOnce Timothy made his first couple of slaves, there was no stopping him. He spent the day building tens of slaves, with the same method that he had used on Steve and Frank, and it was very effective!
Timothy could build a single slave, in just under a minute, including the following, protective armor! He was certainly overpowered regarding the matter, as his high MQ was coming in handy, not only because of the fact that it had helped him create the Cheap Reanimator ability, but also because it gave him enough mental power to be very detail oriented. His high MQ was the only thing that he had to thank, it amped his dark abilities significantly!
Anyway, even though he was capable of making goblin slaves quickly, he still refrained from doing so throughout every minute, because he didn’t want to deplete his dark mana entirely! At the fifty slaves mark, he had already spent twenty-thousand mana points, and his mana was yet to replenish the points he spent, regardless of how many breaks he had taken in between! This was why he decided to slow down.
In simple words, there was only so little of dark mana to go around, so he paused very often, as he wanted to allow his mana to regenerate naturally. During his pauses, he spent some time with his slaves, and he got very entertained by them!
Regarding their design, Timothy had decided to make the rest of the slaves a bit less intelligent. Each of them had an IQ of ninety-points, which technically was a higher score than that of the average, living, degranus goblin, so they weren't exactly retarded, far from it, actually, but they were still hilarious!
Apparently, this specific IQ mark encouraged at least half of his slaves to be very humorous! Half of them had a lot of testicle jokes, or land-walker jokes, which at this point was directed to themselves, because as freshly new aqus goblins, they too were capable of walking the lands if they wanted to. The irony of it all was what made their jokes more hilarious!
A lot of these slaves have been intelligent creatures before they died, such as dolphins, sharks, whales, and dragons! So, when Timothy restored their original brains, and based his work on their original skeletons, he managed to restore a lot of their memories! This was what brought the jokes.
Such as, ‘Would you hump a coconut crab, or would you let a coconut crab hump you?”
Or, ‘Would you hide in a whale's penis to avoid a predator?’
These questions were all entrapping, and once they were answered, laughter broke out. There was no way for one to explain as to why they would have relations with a coconut crab, for example, so it became even funnier the more the victims of the jokes tried to explain themselves!
Timothy had a very good time listening to them, he laughed so hard that he started choking on sand! He gave them all of the freedom to joke around, and they got even more inspired to behave foolishly, once they heard their master laugh at their jokes! He might as well laugh, because this was exactly the kind of sub-retarded humor that he enjoyed, and oftentimes practiced.
With that considered, he didn’t feel bad at all about restoring their original brains. Restoring any original organ from an old skeleton was difficult, but he got more detail-oriented about his dark powers, the more he practiced them!
During his work, he noticed that a lot of the skeletons had this sort of energy surrounding them. This energy was faint, and was absolutely invisible to the naked eye, but it existed, and it hung around the skeletons that he had worked with. This energy gave him the details regarding the original organs of the skeleton, including its brain, so these energy marks looked a lot like a blueprint to him, and he acted accordingly! With a little bit of tinkering, he restored their original brains, and it didn’t cost him a single point more!
The original brains that his slaves had, were bound to be useful, they weren't solely for stupid jokes. Sure they might have been dead for hundreds of years now, but all of them had explored The Old Sea before, more thoroughly than Timothy and the team did, so they were bound to help him locate, and survive the Ruins of Aqumus a bit easier! He was forcing answers out of them one by one.
It was a long day! At early noon, the rest of the team woke up, and they were certainly woken up by all of the laughter, it was difficult to not hear it. They woke up, and once they saw fifty aqus goblins around their den, they almost defecated in their trousers!
“Who the hell are these people?” Arvena asked, and she firmly believed that she, and the team were in trouble.
“My slaves!” Timothy called back, “I reanimated them… Well, neither of them were aqus goblins originally, but it takes little tinkering to turn them into goblins.”
Timothy was very honest, very truthful, but this didn't make the situation any less terrifying! The team knew that their friend had some necromantic powers, but the work he did here was mad, it was especially surprising to them, because they were oblivious of all the work he did ever since the crack of dawn! Come to think of it, they’d still be surprised even if they did see him work, so there was no easy way for them to ponder the fact that he had created over fifty slaves! They were stunned for words.
However, their fear didn't necessarily halt his progress. He kept them from attacking the aqus goblins, and the aqus goblins certainly wouldn't attack anyone unless they were told to. Their free will was almost non-existent, purely superficial, regardless of their decent intelligence. Everyone was fine.
Anyway, as everyone started getting along with each other, some practical problems arose. The goblins were hungry, and they might as well be, because they had fully working bodies, and organs that demanded sustenance! They had to eat.
Timothy wanted to give them that old tuna fish for them to eat, but that may not be enough, and also, the tuna was the team’s personal stack of food. The slaves had to eat some different food, and since he had to feed fifty people a couple of times a day, he needed well over three-hundred pounds of fresh food to keep them fed, especially today since their new stomach's were absolutely empty!
“Maybe I can take them to the giant squid? Assuming that the Sea Orcs hadn't eaten it already.” He pondered.
