Chapter 203 - "Six slaves a day"

Timothy saw how confused they were getting, and rightfully so, because they shifted from being fish with a total of four IQ points, to fully functional goblin geniuses! Under those conditions, it was obvious that they had a lot of questions, but they couldn’t figure everything out themselves, no matter how smart they were!
For that matter, he decided to intervene, and answer the questions that he was sure that they would ask. “Hello, I am your master, and my name is Timothy. Let me answer a couple of your questions… you used to be dead, guys, there's no other way to explain that part. I'm guessing that you were dead for hundreds of years, until I reanimated your fish bodies, brought your old brains back, and gave you life. I'm certain you remember seeing me a few minutes ago.”
“I remember,” The goblin, who used to be an anglerfish, answered.
The prior assfish nodded as well, “I do too.”
Timothy felt a bit awkward explaining what he did to their bodies, but he fixed them to be conscious, after all. So, even though they didn't have souls to suit them, and even though most of their being was artificial, they still were conscious enough to have questions! Considering their advanced IQ, they may even be too smart to follow him blindly, he didn’t rule that out as an option! This was a perplexing situation that he created, but he still tried his best here.
For that matter, he continued. “I need strong warriors by my side, so, using my supreme powers, I turned the two of you into goblins, and I preserved your brains along the way. I didn't want you to lose your memories, however short they may be.”
“Master is merciful,” They nodded.
Timothy didn’t know how to feel about that statement, he definitely wasn't merciful, as these goblins were his slaves after all. The only reason why he preserved their brains was because he was feeling sentimental about them, and not merciful.
Nevertheless, he continued to explain. “After I turned you into goblins, I gave you powers. You can shoot fireballs now! Come on, try it out on me, on your master.”
“But master…” The couple of guys were hesitant.
Timothy kept insisting, however, so they both ended up shooting at him! Since their mana quality was technically at level six, and in the God's Punishment Realm, they couldn't do much harm to him.
[-23 health points,] The system beeped.
Timothy didn’t lose much health, because he had bought several durability upgrades before. His skin was thicker than the scales of the average dragon, nonetheless fish, so he was okay. If these guys were to attack his friends, however, his friends would receive a nasty burn, as the fire would burn them ten times as much! He was happy with these results, his slaves were strong.
“Okay… that's hot enough.” He mumbled, and then he explained. “See, you can shoot fireballs now, and you could've hurt me more if you wanted to. Once you have powers like this, you can summon them instinctively, it's as easy breathing. Now… are you aware of how mana pools work?”
“Mana pools contain our mana, and mana is like food for our fireballs.” The prior anglerfish followed along, he was correct.
Timothy nodded in agreement, and said. “From what I'm aware of, you can also upgrade your mana to different levels. Yours are at level six, but if you go through a couple more levels, you'll become a lot stronger, so try not to use your fireballs all that much, not unless you have to. Let the mana in your mana pools accumulate.”
With that finished, Timothy surely gave them a lot of information to work with! Sure the goblins might have a lot more questions, especially regarding ethical matters, but they chose to stay quiet. They knew that they had a master, they felt extremely dependent on their master, and those were the two things that they thought about the most. Everything else that Timothy had explained, sounded more like a command to them, rather than information.
“Master brought us into this world, and he can take us out of it again. We shall obey.” The two of them expressed.
Timothy didn’t like how fearful they were, he especially didn't expect smart guys to be this obedient, as he expected them to rebel. He could only guess that the dependency on his dark mana, really took a toll on them already, and that had to be the case regarding their extensive obedience!
According to the system's calculations, if he didn't feed each of them twenty-five, dark mana points before a five-week time bracket, then these couple of slaves would disintegrate, once and for good, and if they disintegrated, their original femur bones would get destroyed as well, thus making it impossible to reanimate them again! He had to be careful with these couple of guys.
“I'd be quiet too if I was in their position,” He thought.
To make them feel more comfortable, he decided to give them names, he said. “Okay… anglerfish, you’ll be called Steve from now on.”
“Steve…” The prior anglerfish repeated that word, and then nodded.
The other guy was then named Frank, and he appeared to like the name a lot. The two of these names were simple, earthling names, but they were memorable enough. Timothy didn’t want to spend all day thinking of names, in fact he didn't even plan on naming any other slave that he was to create, as it would be too much of a task, and he figured that they could name themselves!
Anyway, after they put the formalities out of the way, he had just another thing to do. He had to provide them with clothing, or in this case, anything to cover their genitals, because the two of them were butt-naked!
Timothy didn’t have any extra pair of clothes with him, and furthermore, it would be expensive to coat each slave of his with armor, so he figured out a shortcut. Using the Bone Multiplier ability, he grabbed one of the skeletons of those other fish that he hadn't worked on, and broke a couple of tiny chips off of those skeletons.
Afterwards, he multiplied the bone pieces until he shaped a two-piece armor suit for Steve, and then he made one for Frank. The bone armors fit them like a glove, as he was able to design them to the millimeter, he was very detail-oriented about it. It took two-hundred mana points to create these pieces of armor, though, it will take a lot less points to maintain them, but he still has to update his overall expenses, for math’s sake.
“Okay… It takes 400 mana points to create a single slave, and 30 points a month, including the armor, to maintain them. That's not so bad, eh?” He calculated.
At this rate, even if he depleted his dark mana entirely, he could still make six slaves a day afterwards. He could naturally generate twenty-four hundred dark mana points a day, and this amount didn't sound so little anymore, because six slaves a day was forty-two fire wielding slaves a week! It was plenty, he was happy with the math.
