First time I traveled to Europe, the only international travel experience I had to compare it with was Mexico, so I too took TP, and then felt really silly when I got to Europe and everything was much nicer than in the states.

Buy a Rick Steves book for wherever you’d like to go (hint: you want to go to Italy, and spend the rest of your life in Florence) and you’ll know everything you need to know. Another tip: extra bonus for childfree lifestyle: go to Europe during “shoulder” season. Late October or early March. Much more affordable, better weather. Or go places repeatedly in the middle of February because you’re a dumbass (hi) but also because you can afford to go all over Europe! Yes, Amsterdam was cold but fucking bundle up and suck it up because it’s worth it! Please go to all the places; so grateful I went when I could. Rick Steves is your friend, buy his books and do a lot of what he says.

2024-05-17 02:48:10 +0000 UTCWhile in Sweden- go visit the Viking leftovers 🥰 it’s better than any war room or museum, but also the museum of national history in stlm👍 or the medieval national museum also in stlm ❤️ or Nature history museum/ couple of art ones… do it if you can 💖 also the ship, the medieval one that broke on the maiden voyage and sunk in the harbor in stlm in 1500s 💖 that’s a good one, you see all the ship and the details, they brought it up pretty quickly so so much is still there 🥰 also there’s no laundromats in Sweden 💖
