I think Voldy could have used the charm, choose a random person to be a Secret Keeper and literally the next second kill them. Then only he would know of the location, as after the death of original Secret Keeper all that knew the secret are now Secret Keepers and Voldy would not be spilling that information ever so he actually couldn't be beaten even if Dumbledore figures out the horcruxes are out there somewhere
