Hmm. Never noticed the line about it being 5 years since Bill was last at Hogwarts. He's around 10 years older than Harry and Ron (November 1970), so he should be around 24 in GOF, so it'd have been around 6 or 7 years since he was at Hogwarts; perhaps he was rounding down, or otherwise he's just visited once or twice in the couple of years after he graduated.
