But also likely human error similar to athletes doing a trip before the finish line. But yeah, pretty incredible Barty successfully sneaked up on AND outduelled Moody (since there's a commotion which I assume were spells being fired on both ends which led to the Muggle neighbors calling the police). (I always assume Peter was a distraction or something, because, although powerful/not weak, I don't think he's a great dueller)
