I personally think that when Lavender and Parvati look at Harry after McGs announcement, its not for them, but for GINNY. Notice! They don't turn to look at him right after she says you can get a date, but after she says younger students can go if invited by an older student. They are KNOWN gossips and girly girls, I PROMISE they have well and easily clocked that Ginny likes Harry. So they both gasp and look at him and then giggle like oooooo wait til we tell Ginny that she can still go if a certain someone asks her heehhe
