I'm usually find the "what if" speculations boring, but this was the most intriguing one I have seen in a while.

I think voldemort as a Gryffindor villain would be super overconfident (as he already is) and could even be lead to doing the horcruxes and escaping death stuff with a justification that it's brave thing to do. Exploring the dark arts and venturing into the unknown, would be cowardly to ignore all that because of fear of what it can do or rules.
