But this question feels more like "What if Bellatrix died in the Battle of the Department of Mysteries?" and who would it save? Still, good question even if it's not Harry to do it - maybe Sirius

2025-03-08 19:33:24 +0000 UTCWouldn’t the killing curse have just not worked? He tries to use the Cruciatus curse and Bellatrix tells him it doesn’t work because he’s using it out of righteous anger, he has to enjoy causing pain. Wouldn’t he have the same problem with the killing curse?
