The casting for the reboot is in shambles. Paapa Essiedu has been cast as Snape. Speaking as a person of color this is absolutely outrageous. It's forced diversity inclusion. Snape is very clearly described in the books and he isn't black. This choice also makes it look like several parts of the story stem from a race issue, when there was never a race issue there. I'm sorry brothers, but John Lithgow is no Dumbledore and I think you both know it. Jared Harris, Richard Harris's son would have been perfect for the role. If they're letting Americans in, Adam Driver is an example of an actor who could play Snape. I have no hope at all for this reboot anymore. They can't even cast it without causing multiple controversies. It's unfortunate and sad.

2025-03-13 14:55:09 +0000 UTCI'd say Moody/Crouch wrote both name and school, probably Castelobruxo based on the foreshadowing of Bill having a pen friend there. The Confundus Charm makes the Cup think there's four schools, and when Moody/Crouch says it was a very clever wizard who did it, Dumbledore doesn't deny it.

Because when they enter the Great hall in year one for the sorting the Gryffindor table is on the far left, then Ravenclaw, Slytherin, and Hufflepuff on the right. And this year it’s Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, then Gryffindor. And I think when Harry and Cho are dating the Gryffindor and Ravenclaw tables are next to each other. I’ve always wondered, did Moody/Crouch write a school name or just Harry’s on the paper? If yes, what school do you think he wrote?
